Quique Dacosta
This restaurant doesn’t have one but three Michelin Stars! Based in Denia, Quique creates a new menu each year with the sole aim of surprising his guests. As the restaurant motto says: their cuisine has roots but not borders. They take the best of the traditional dishes of the area and put some imaginary wings on to invite your palate on an exciting culinary adventure.
Each menu change transforms the restaurant into one full of new and surprising delights to experience. Moreover, the menu is put together following a storyline, so if you are in the region this restaurant will satisfy not just your taste buds but your intellect.
BonAmb
Do you have a special occasion, or perhaps you’re just in the mood for something more? Then reserve a table at BonAmb. The interior of BonAmb, meaning “pleasant atmosphere” is exactly that. In this unique, stylishly decorated building they conjure up real masterpieces. The restaurant opened up in 2011, and was awarded a Michelin star shortly after. Not long after that a second star followed. Chef Alberto Ferruz is a rising star in the world of Spanish gastronomy. He was chosen as Best Chef of the Year by the ‘Academia de la Gastronomía de la Comunidad Valenciana’ in 2015.
Eating in this restaurant is not only about experiencing regional cuisine but also a way to help the growing network of local farmers, businessmen, and artisans. We suggest the multi-course meal, consisting of 14 dishes, each dish looking even more spectacular than the last. It is not only a feast for the eyes but also for the palate.
Vall de Cavall Gata - Restaurant, Guest House & Livery Yard
Vall de Cavall is situated on a grand estate set in rolling hills close to the village of Gata de Gorgos about 10 minutes inland from Javea or Denia. A seemingly endless driveway brings you through the fields full of beautiful horses and finally ends at the finca. Vall de Cavall offers elegant dining in the restaurant, luxury accommodation in the Guest House, as well as a livery yard and riding stables. Come and experience fine dining, enjoy a swim in the pool, stay in one of their charming rooms, or explore the countryside on horseback. The country style interior of the restaurant is comfortable and stylish, and the service is friendly and efficient.
To start, try the calamari and croquettes (with ham and chicken). Both are mouth-watering. Then perhaps the Chateaubriand a la Piedra for a main course. This beautiful cut of beef is self cooked to your liking on a hot stone at the table.

Open for lunch and dinner daily, Ritual de Terra Restaurant and Bar offers authentic Mediterranean food in a sophisticated setting. Restaurante La Masena is a fine dining restaurant in Javea, situated in a beautifully converted finca between Javea & Benitachell, on the Costa Blanca, Spain. The restaurant offers a menu of international, regional and Mediterranean dishes, ranging from traditional Spanish paellas, to elegant French dishes such as Chateaubriand, Suckling Pig and Foie Gras.
