Since 16 October 2023, all agents operating in the Comunidad Valenciana are required to be registered in the Register of Real Estate Agents of the Valencia Community (el Registro de Agentes de Intermediacion Inmobiliaria de la Comunidad Valenciana) and comply with all legal obligations. Dampier International is a fully licensed real estate agency in the Valencian region and pleased to comply with the new compulsory regulations requiring real estate agents to be registered to sell properties on the Costa Blanca.

We are also proud to be members of the Alicante ANPIFF (Asociacion Nacional de Profesionales Inmobiliarios Financieros y Fiscales – Official Order of Estate Agents of Alicante and its province – an association that has been present in the Spanish property sector for many years. Becoming part of the Alicante ANPIFF is an option taken by estate agents and includes training, experience and an extensive code of ethics.

What you should expect from your estate agent… 

Deposits insurance We have surety insurance (seguro de caucion) for clients with a minimum guaranteed limit of 60,000 euros per office open to the public in the Comunidad Valenciana.

Liability insurance We have professional civil responsibility insurance with a minimum cover of 600,000 euros.

Legislation in force We act independently, impartially, prudently and with due regard for the client’s interests and in compliance with the legislation in force.

Regulation We provide information on the regulations and the deontological principles.

Professional qualifications We have attained the required professional qualifications established by ANPIFF.

Knowledge We remain familiar with Spanish regulations and keep updated with any changes.
